Children will be introduced to a variety of mixed media art experiences, science and construction activities as well as music and movement activities and games. Each week will feature a take home art piece.

Drop your child off for this exciting early years S.T.E.A.M. class that is taught by a Registered Early Childhood Educator and Ontario Certified Teacher.

Children will register for one, two or three classes each week. 

Artists will build their skills and explore more challenging materials and processes. At this age we see children’s physical skills start to catch up with their imagination so we will allow for them to follow their own interests more independently. We will also go deeper into artist studies, learning about the work of established artists and finding inspiration in their approach to art making.

Your child will learn the basics of pottery including pinching, coiling and slab building, to create their own pottery pieces and decorate them after their pieces are fired. 

This pottery class will explore a mix of hand building techniques and wheel throwing. 

Designed for tweens, this class allows tweens to get creative with their imagination while mastering the art of tufting. Tweens will learn how to transform yarn into stunning designs. 

Young artists can explore the vibrant world of watercolour painting in this fine art class. Designed to build technical skills and enhance fine art abilities through fun and engaging techniques this class will explore gradient work to create smooth colour transitions, practice glazing to achieve rich, layered effects, and learn feathering to add delicate, intricate details to their paintings and much more! With hands-on guidance and plenty of creative freedom, your child will develop their artistic talents while having a blast with colors and textures!

Create alongside your little! This class is an introduction to art making and science experiments. We are laying the foundations for process art skills and encourage free flowing creativity. Each week features sensory exploration, collaborative art experiences and science experiments.

Hands on, messy science for the active child. Perfect for children who learn using their hands, this class involves projects that allow your little one to learn in an entirely unique way.

Children who have participated in our Hand Building class will continue to learn more advanced techniques and be introduced to the wheel.

*Please note that given the nature of the wheel, there will not be many completed projects as children learn to work with the wheel and develop technique. 

Crafty children are introduced to a new form of creative expression! This introductory class will introduce basic sewing concepts and children will have the opportunity to create pillows, bags, and scrunchies. 

Dive into the colourful world of water colouring with our art class designed especially for 3-6 year olds. Through playful activities, they'll create beautiful landscapes, vibrant flowers, and seasonal masterpieces to take home. This class encourages creativity and artistic expression while introducing little ones to the joys of fine art skills. 

Unleash your creativity in our Anime Drawing Class for kids! This dynamic class dives into the exciting world of anime, teaching students how to create their own characters and scenes with vibrant, eye-catching styles. From mastering facial expressions and dynamic poses to exploring unique colour techniques, kids will learn the essentials of anime art.

Your young creator will have opportunities to work with new materials and real tools and explore their unique creative interests. It encourages imagination, new ideas and provides children the opportunity to express those ideas in a safe and nurturing environment.

Hands on, advanced science lessons for the curious creator! Expect larger than life take home projects, hands on chemistry and biology lessons that will cater to your childs interests, foster a deeper understanding of interesting science concepts, and encourage learning outside of a sitdown classroom style of education.

This session will include making a sealed terrarium, learning about bacteria and completing a breadboard project. 

Our Tween Pottery class will introduce the children to ceramics, air dry clay and wheel throwing. There will be some take home creations in this class with a focus on learning pottery fundamentals. 

Children who have already participated in our Tween Pottery will continue their experience by learning about glazing and 

Learn the essentials to rug making with this active class. Young artists will learn the basics of tufting, a fun technique for making colourful rugs, wall hangings and more. Each child will complete one themed canvas through the session.

Discover the joy of drawing in our Beginners’ Drawing Class for kids aged 6-10. This class introduces young artists to the basics of drawing with fun and engaging activities. Through simple exercises, children will learn fundamental techniques like sketching, shading, and perspective, all while expressing their creativity. This class will allow your child to gain confidence and develop essential drawing skills, laying the groundwork for their artistic growth.
