Artsplosions
Ages 2 - 5 years
A little paint, a little science and a whole lot of wonder! Artsplosions is TinkerLab’s weekly class where children explore what happens when art meets science.
Through a playful mix of take-home art projects, hands-on science experiments and sensory play, children can mix, squish, paint, investigate and create.
And the creativity isn’t just for the little ones! While children explore with TinkerLab, caregivers can choose to join Art Haven Cafe’s adult art class, happening at the same time. Enjoy some creativity of your own while your child enjoys theirs!
Registration: Register for your child’s Artsplosions class through TinkerLab. The caregiver/adult art class is optional and requires separate registration and payment directly through Art Haven Cafe. Your TinkerLab registration covers the children’s program only.

Paint & Potions
Ages 3 - 8 years
Join TinkerLab for a weekly adventure combining art projects and hands-on science experiments.
Paint & Potions is a guided group experience where we learn, experiment and create together. Children will follow along with demonstrations, explore materials and techniques, and bring their own creativity to each activity.
Creative time for grown-ups, too! While children participate in Paint & Potions, caregivers can choose to join Art Haven Cafe’s adult program, happening at the same time.

Sew Creative
Ages 7 - 12 years
With step-by-step instruction and supervised practice, children will learn to use professional sewing machines and explore hand-sewing techniques.
We’ll practise sewing essentials, build confidence with the tools and work on a couple of take-home projects throughout the program.
From choosing fabrics to adding finishing touches, children will have opportunities to make creative decisions, solve problems and experience the satisfaction of making something themselves. Beginners are welcome—patience, practice and creativity are all part of the process!
