Hands-On Party Fun

Looking for a unique, fun, and creative party experience for your child? TinkerLab offers a variety of exciting, hands-on art parties for children 0-10 years of age at our studio. We provide all of the materials and activities!

Parties Include:

- A 2 hour private party in our studio.

- Open Studio time with hands-on art, science and/or engineering activities personalized to your guest's ages and party theme.

- A special take-home work of art for each guest.

Parties cost $390.00 +hst for up to 10 children. Additional children are $18.50 each.

*A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking.

*Please note that parties hosting more than 15 children are required to add an additional 30 minutes of party time.

In Studio Parties: Frequently Asked Questions

Due to Covid-19, TinkerLab has implemented a number of changes to ensure the health and safety of all party-goers including number of guests, how activities are supervised and monitoring signs for illness during the birthday party.

What is the maximum number of guests?

Currently, we accept up to 40 children and adult guests.

Do you supply food and drinks?

Hosts are welcome to bring in any outside food and beverages that are favourites for the birthday child, please be aware of any allergies and food sensitivities your guests may have. Note that we are a nut aware facility and ask that you do not bring in any peanut and tree nut products.

Do you have a fridge or freezer?

Yes! We have a fridge with a freezer.

Do you provide the birthday cake?

We provide "Decorate-Your-Own" Cupcakes as an Add-On option if you do not want to bring your own birthday cake. This option must be made at the time of booking.

Do you supply dinnerware?

No. Hosts are required to bring plates, cups, napkins and cutlery. TinkerLab is happy to provide these as an "Add-On" option to your party package. Please note that TinkerLab does provide a table cloth for children to eat on during mealtime.

Do you supply decorations?

Our studio is very colourful! Decorations are not necessary however some families have chosen to bring in birthday balloons, banners, etc. You are more than welcome to bring in any decorations that will enhance your party!

How early can we come to set up?

Hosts are welcome to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the party to set up any food and beverages or decorations. Need more time? Please speak with us to make arrangements for earlier party set-up (additional fees required and reservations made at time of booking).

Are children allowed to be dropped off?

Yes! We encourage children who are aged 4 + to be dropped off for birthday parties. Please ensure you have contact information for all party guests.

Where can party guests park?

There is a parking lot located directly behind the building, off Court Street North. Additional parking can be found on both sides of Court Street North.

How do I book a party?

Interested in booking? Don't wait! We typically book 2 months in advance. Be sure to secure the date and time you are interested in today! Call our studio, 905-636-4080 or email us, info@tinkerlabforkids.com to inquire about a party date today!

2 hours might not be enough time for us. Can we add on additional time?

Of course! We are happy to add on additional time, in half hour increments, at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee that additional time will be available on your party date unless the time is confirmed at the time of booking. Sometimes during the course of a party guests will stay later, should this occur we will add on additional time to accommodate you and your guests.

How much time do we have to set up decorations prior to the party?

We provide 15 minutes prior to your party start time to set up your decorations and party treats. If you require more time please let us know at the time of booking and we can make arrangements to add on additional time to your party.

How do I hold a party date?

Birthday party bookings are on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve a party date and time, TinkerLab must receive a deposit. We cannot hold a party date/time until a deposit has been received.

Cancelation Policy:

We appreciate as much notice as possible for canceled parties. Refunds are not provided on party deposits and cannot be deferred to a different party date. Rescheduling a party requires an updated party deposit.
