Experiential Learning Class
Junior Kindergarten - Grade 2
As we approach the start of a new school year families are being faced with the unprecedented task of balancing their work schedule and children's education with keeping their family healthy and safe from the current global pandemic.
Many parents recognize that their child will learn best in small, safe learning environments where their child can interact with other students and receive in-person support from an Ontario Certified Teacher. At TinkerLab, we are committed to providing an enriching experience for all children and this fall we are reorganizing our studio to provide a safe, healthy, experiential environment for children.
Our new Experiential Learning Class offers in-person teaching to children in Junior Kindergarten - Grade 2 hosted by an Ontario Certified Teacher right in our studio. Students will work through the Ontario Education Curriculum, including Math, Language, Science and Technology, Social Studies, The Arts (including Music, Dance, Drama and Visual Art), Health and Physical Education. This is a highly individualized program and all students will participate in individual and group learning experiences. Progress reports will be available to families at the end of the term. Students will also work towards a winter celebration to share with their families.
This is a temporary full time program, operating Monday - Friday. Our class day will be 9:00 am - 3:00 pm with after care available to families as needed.
Please note that we have chosen to host these classes to support children learning for those families who are immunocompromised, have family members that are high risk for illness, or who are concerned with registering their child into a program or school with a large number of children therefore there is a limited number of registrations.
